How it impacts what you feel about yourself

Have you ever wondered why you react the way you do to certain comments from friends, or why the same frustrating situations seem to follow you? You're not alone, and it’s not by coincidence. There’s a part of you, hidden beneath the surface of your conscious mind, that plays a huge role in shaping your life. This is your subconscious mind—vast, influential, and quietly steering much of what you think, feel, and do.

Through my own experiences and from what I've seen working with people just like you, I know how much our lives are influenced by deep-seated beliefs and patterns we picked up during our early years. These are not just idle scripts; they actively limit us, make us feel trapped, or cause us to act against our own best interests. But what if you could peek behind the curtain and rewrite these scripts? How much more free and fulfilled could you feel?

From the moment we're born, our subconscious begins to record everything. It’s like a sponge, soaking up every experience, every word, and every emotion. Sometimes these patterns keep us stuck in past pains, reacting to today’s problems with yesterday’s strategies.

Studies in neuroscience reveal that the subconscious processes information thousands of times faster than our conscious mind. Imagine that! It's making decisions before you even consciously think about them. This immense processing power explains why breaking old habits or forming new ones can feel so challenging.

Changing the subconscious isn’t about one grand gesture; it’s about small, consistent changes. Here are some practical strategies to start rewiring those deep-seated patterns:

  • Positive Affirmations: Regularly affirming positive thoughts can help reshape the negative narratives buried in your subconscious.

  • Therapy: Sometimes, unpacking the deeper layers of our subconscious requires professional guidance. A therapist can help you uncover and understand the origins of your subconscious scripts.

  • Journaling: Writing down your thoughts and feelings can expose subconscious beliefs and allow you to consciously address them.

As you start to work on your subconscious, remember, it’s not about perfection or an overnight fix. It’s a journey towards understanding yourself better and gently guiding your inner narrative to support the life you truly want to live. Sounds easy right? Look I get this is daunting for a topic of a morning but there are steps you can take to make the journey one you can follow easily with an intention to reset and reframe what is no longer serving you. We know your subconscious mind holds immense power over your actions, emotions, and life decisions. Realising this is like turning on a light in a dark room—suddenly, everything that's been influencing you becomes clear.

What can you do right now?
